LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County Public Arts Office is announcing an open call for artists to participate in the upcoming exhibition, “Bridges of Belonging: Cinco de Mayo, Bi-National Identity, and the Spirit of Chignahuapan.”

The show will run at the Rotunda Gallery from April 20 to May 28, 2026, and is open to artists ages 8 and up. Organizers are looking for original works that explore the history and cultural meaning of Cinco de Mayo, as well as the experiences of bi-national identity.

Selected pieces will be displayed alongside works by international artists, including featured creators from Chignahuapan, Puebla. Submissions can be a painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, or mixed media.

Then on May 1, the county will host a public reception for the artists, where they can meet the community and receive awards for their hard work. Prizes include Desert Art Supplies gift certificates for Best in Show and Honorable Mention.
