LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The March weather review is in for Las Vegas, and it was a record-setter, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

March 2026 delivered an early taste of summer, with an average temperature of 73°F, which is 12.2°F above normal. It was also exceptionally dry, with zero inches of precipitation recorded for the month. That totally is 0.42″ below normal, forecasters say.

Temperatures swung to both extremes, topping out at 98°F on Wednesday, March 25 and dipping to 47°F on Sunday, March 8, NWS reported.
