LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center’s cardiovascular nursing teams are being honored for their hard work, with the HCA Healthcare Unit of Distinction Award.
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit was named Critical Care Unit of Distinction, ranking as HCA Healthcare’s top critical care unit. The Cardiac Care Unit also earned a Unit of Distinction award, placing in the top 5% of low- and high-volume cardiac units.
Sunrise additionally received honorable mention designations for its Pediatric Emergency Department and its Mother Baby Unit.
This is the 10th Anniversary of the HCA Healthcare award program, recognizing nurses for their excellence in advocacy and leadership in improving patient care.
