LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A suspect was taken into custody Friday afternoon after a police chase ended in a crash on Boulder Highway.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers were near Sandhill Road and La Brea Court around 2:06 p.m. when they observed a male driving a vehicle matching the description of a suspect from an earlier domestic disturbance incident.
Officers were about to initiate a traffic stop when the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.
Officers pursued the vehicle until the suspect vehicle was involved in a collision in the 4100 block of Boulder Highway.
After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.
No officers were injured.
One individual involved in the collision was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
