LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar says the state added 20,805 active registered voters in April 2026, bringing Nevada’s total to 2,061,557, which is a 1.02% increase from March.
The biggest jump came from nonpartisan voters, which grew by 11,467 (1.48%). Democratic registration increased by 5,045 (0.90%), while Republican registration rose by 3,571 (0.63%). Smaller parties also saw gains: the Independent American Party added 499 (0.59%), the Libertarian Party of Nevada added 65 (0.46%), and a group of other minor parties increased by 158 (0.49%).

Here’s what Nevada’s 2,061,557 active registered voters look like now:
- Nonpartisan: 786,136 (38.13%)
- Republican: 574,522 (27.87%)
- Democratic: 568,778 (27.59%)
- Independent American Party: 85,868 (4.17%)
- Libertarian Party of Nevada: 14,116 (0.68%)
- Other minor parties: 32,137 (1.56%)
