LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Aviators are turning the page after a rough homestand against the St. Paul Saints.

Las Vegas dropped five of six games in the interleague series at Las Vegas Ballpark, with its lone win coming Thursday night by a score of 7–6.

Scores:

  • May 5: Saints 15–7
  • May 6: Saints 11–2
  • May 7: Aviators 7–6
  • May 8: Saints 7–4
  • May 9: Saints 13–8
  • May 10: Saints 4–2

After the series, the Aviators fell into second place in the Pacific Coast League West behind the Sacramento River Cats, while St. Paul climbed above .500 at 20–18 in the International League.

Following an off day Monday, Las Vegas hits the road for a six-game set in Reno against the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliates of the Arizona Diamondbacks, beginning Tuesday, May 12 at Greater Nevada Field.

The Aviators then return home the following week to host the Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A affiliates of the Colorado Rockies, for another six-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark.
