LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Emerald Island Casino in downtown Henderson is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this month.
The community is invited to join the party on Saturday, May 16 at noon.
Guests will be treated to complimentary slow smoked beef brisket BBQ sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, cake and Irish coffee.
Players also have the chance to win big cash prizes. There will also be a limited-edition T-shirt giveaway.
The Emerald Island Casino was recently known as the Pot of Gold Casino, and was bought by twin brothers Tim and Mike Brooks in 2001. The property was redone in 2003 and officially opened its doors as Emerald Island Casino on May 23, 2003.
