LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Highway Patrol will join law enforcement agencies statewide for a seatbelt enforcement effort as part of the Joining Forces campaign, officials announced.
The “Click It or Ticket” campaign runs May 13 through May 31, 2026, and will feature high-visibility patrols across Nevada aimed at educating drivers and passengers about the importance of wearing seat belts, the agency said.

Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, said the campaign supports its broader goal of reducing deadly crashes and working toward zero fatalities on Nevada roadways by increasing awareness around dangerous driving behaviors, including speeding, impaired driving, and driving unrestrained.
