LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Adriana Guzman Fralick is running for Nevada Attorney General in the upcoming primary election.
Experience and qualifications
Guzman Fralick said her experience makes her qualified for the position.
“I have experience not just in the public sector, but also in the private sector,” Guzman Fralick said. “And I have been a practicing attorney for over 20 years, and I have been litigating, and I have my own law office.”
She said she knows how to run a business and understands state and local government.
“So it’s only a four-year term, so there’s no time for on-the-job training,” Guzman Fralick said. “I’ll hit the ground running.”
Crime policy priorities
Guzman Fralick said unwinding soft-on-crime policies is a priority.
“We need to definitely unwind the soft-on crime policies that have been in existence for the last eight years and help implement the governor’s crime bill,” she said. “I think that’s a huge priority.”
Consumer protection and state focus
She said protecting Nevadans against corporations is another priority.
“And just make sure that we focus on Nevada and not focus on suing our president every other week,” Guzman Fralick said.
Early voting starts Saturday.
