LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened near UNLV early Wednesday morning.
The incident was reported around midnight at the 3800 block of Cambridge Street, near Maryland and Flamingo, in Las Vegas.

Investigators say two groups got into a fight in the courtyard of an apartment complex and someone pulled out a knife. One man was stabbed and taken to the hospital, where he later died.
