LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two people were transported to the hospital following a fire in west Las Vegas Friday afternoon.

Clark County fire crews responded to a structure fire just before 10 p.m. at the 6300 block of West Tropicana Avenue, near Jones Boulevard.

Officials say the first unit on scene found a single-wide mobile home heavily involved with flames and heat threatening a nearby structure.

Crews launched an offensive attack and had the fire under control within roughly 15 minutes, with damage contained to the two affected occupancies.

Two people were taken to a local hospital with minor medical complaints. No firefighters or other public safety personnel were injured, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
