LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Local business owners gathered at the World Market Center Wednesday for the Vegas Chamber’s annual Business Expo.
Attendees connected with other professionals while also seeing what future colleagues are capable of. This year’s event featured a “Baby Shark Tank” competition.
Teen entrepreneurs presented their ideas and received live feedback from Chamber leaders.
“I think what’s great about Baby Shark Tank [is that] these are ideas that teenagers are coming up with to solve a problem, right? They’ve watched the show. They’ve gotten excited about what they can be doing to create positive change in the business community,” said Cara Clark with the Chamber. “We’re excited to hear their ideas and hear their plans for success.”
First- through third-place winners of the Baby Shark Tank competition received cash prizes ranging from $250 to $750.
The Business Expo also featured support resources for small businesses, TED Talk-style sessions and giveaways.
