LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 22-year-old man accused in a southwest Las Vegas double homicide earlier this year is now officially set for trial.
A Las Vegas judge set Ziaire Ham’s jury trial for December 7, 2026. In court, defense attorneys requested a pretrial risk assessment and a full bail hearing. The judge agreed to provide the risk report to both sides and set bail arguments for July 8.
Ham’s attorney also waived his right to a speedy trial, giving prosecutors and the defense additional time to prepare. Status checks and pretrial hearings are scheduled through November ahead of the December trial date.

Police say Ham was driving a stolen black Mazda SUV when it pulled up next to another vehicle near West Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive in early March.
Investigators say family members had left 18-month-old Nhalani and family friend Danaijha Robinson inside the car when someone approached and opened fire, killing both.
The following day, police in Ogden, Utah, chased and arrested Ham in the same SUV, authorities said. Investigators say he later admitted to stealing the vehicle in Phoenix and shooting into the blue car.
Ham is charged with two counts of murder with a deadly weapon and multiple counts of firing into an occupied vehicle.
