LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Sports Bra, a sports bar dedicated exclusively to showing women’s sports, has announced it will open a Las Vegas franchise in 2027.

According to an Instagram post, the new location is set to open at 4080 Paradise Road, near the Las Vegas Strip, the Sphere, the Las Vegas Convention Center and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The announcement shared that the space requires a full build-out before its slated opening in 2027.

The Las Vegas franchise is led by Esther Taylor, owner of Taylor Legacy Holdings LLC. Amber Gonzalez will serve as general manager. Shaster Powell will manage front-of-house and bar operations. Chef Jose Lazo will oversee the culinary program. Nytashia Gonzalez will manage community outreach and marketing.

“The moment I stood on that corner and watched the nonstop flow of cars driving by with locals, tourists, students, workers, and families, I felt it in my chest,” Taylor said. “This intersection is pure Las Vegas energy. You can see the Sphere glowing, you’re minutes from the Strip, and thousands of people pass by every single day. I knew instantly: This is where The Sports Bra belongs. This is where women’s sports deserve to be seen.”

The venue will be family-friendly. Chef Lazo will lead a kitchen featuring vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free menu options, as well as signature dishes from the original Portland location. The bar will prioritize sourcing food, beverage and environmental products from local, women-owned and -operated businesses.

Programming will include coverage of the Las Vegas Aces, the UNLV women’s basketball program, the Las Vegas USL Super League women’s soccer club, a newly announced professional women’s hockey team, and leagues including the NWSL, PWHL and Athletes Unlimited. The venue will also broadcast local high school programs, club teams and youth leagues.

“The Sports Bra centers women’s sports and builds a community around them,” said Jenny Nguyen, founder and CEO of The Sports Bra. “Esther deeply understands how to harness the unique, community-driven spirit of Las Vegas to create a place where fans and athletes alike feel seen and celebrated.”

While the build-out is underway, The Sports Bra Las Vegas will host pop-up events at locations across the city.
