LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — NV Energy has announced a new date for a postponed public consumer session on its deferred energy charges.

The session was originally scheduled for June 25 but was delayed while regulators searched for a larger venue to accommodate more people.

High turnout expected

Officials expect a large crowd at the rescheduled meeting. The decision to find a bigger space came after a Public Utilities Commission meeting last month drew significant attendance, with people lining up outside the building waiting to speak.

The new consumer session is set for July 27 at the Nevada Legislative Council Bureau. More details can be found here.
