Artist reaction

One artist said the milestone carried personal meaning for her work.

“The 250th anniversary as an artist means to me that we get to document that and through the eyes of art and in our own special way we see the world and the history of the United States and especially right here in Nevada and Clark County,” she said.

The art remains on display at the Rotunda Gallery inside the Clark County Government Center.
