LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Pahrump man died Saturday evening after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Manse Road and Money Street, according to Nevada State Police.
The crash was reported at approximately 7:53 p.m.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Nevada Highway Patrol, a gray 2015 Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Money Street in the number one travel lane when the driver failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign and entered the intersection.
An orange 1970 Volkswagen Beetle struck the left side of the Nissan.
The driver of the Volkswagen, Michael Todd Lewis, 61, of Pahrump, was transported from the scene with life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.
Hospital personnel later notified NHP that Lewis had died from injuries sustained in the crash.
NHP said Lewis was unrestrained at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Nissan was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
NHP said the Southern Command has investigated 38 fatal crashes resulting in 41 fatalities in 2026 to date.
