LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nye County deputies searching for a stolen car in Pahrump say they instead uncovered an arsenal of guns, suspected drugs and more inside a Pahrump home.
Nye County Sheriff’s Office deputies served a search warrant on Friday, July 24 at a home in the 500 block of Black Street, near Basin Ave and Blagg Road, as part of an investigation into a stolen vehicle.
During the search, deputies recovered the stolen vehicle along with seven firearms (including one reported stolen and another with an altered/removed serial number), a homemade silencer, and suspected narcotics and pills.
Authorities also note that the drugs included methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and various prescription medications.

Investigators identified the resident as Charles Ayoub, who they say is a convicted felon and legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Ayoub on multiple charges.
