LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man is injured and his vehicle is totaled after a rollover crash on the 215 beltway in the north valley Thursday morning.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash around 4:44 a.m. on the westbound 215 beltway, just west of 5th Street. Troopers say the crash involved only one vehicle, which is described as either a black Chevrolet Corvette or a Camaro.

The vehicle is currently totaled after the incident, police say, which involved the driver losing control, striking a rock embankment, and traveling “60 to 70 feet into the shoulder area.”
Troopers say one adult male was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries from the crash, though the extent of those injuries is currently unknown.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
