LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Fourteen people were hospitalized Friday morning after a car collided with a Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) transit bus near Downtown Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
First responders, including police officers and firefighters, rushed to the intersection of North 13th Street and Fremont Street at approximately 10:03 a.m. following reports of the crash.
According to police, a total of 14 individuals were transported to local hospitals. All of the injuries have been described as non-life-threatening.
An image from the scene showed an articulated RTC transit bus angled across the roadway near a sidewalk, with debris scattered on the street and a downed tree nearby.
Authorities are on scene investigating.
