LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire at 1260 Golden Apple Street on Sunday afternoon that displaced five adults and caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.
Units were dispatched at approximately 4:29 p.m. Sunday near Nellis and Charleston boulevards, and arrived on scene at 4:33 p.m.

Fire spreads from garage into home
The first-arriving crews found a well-involved fire in a two-story residential home. The fire originated in the garage and spread to the north-side exterior and into the home’s interior.
Crews deployed attack lines for fire control, ascended to the roof, and began primary search operations. Firefighters also evacuated the neighboring home to the north and placed lines to protect it from becoming involved.
Interior crews reported the fire had extended from the garage to the first floor and was rapidly extending to the second floor. The fire was knocked down within a few minutes. Primary searches were completed, and the fire was under control within approximately 10 minutes of units arriving on scene.
The fire was contained to the building of origin. No damage was sustained to surrounding structures.
One occupant injured; no firefighter injuries reported
The home’s occupant sustained thermal injuries during the incident. Medical crews on scene evaluated them, and the occupant declined transport to the hospital. No injuries to firefighters or public safety personnel were reported.
