PAHRUMP, NV (FOX5) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating an ATV crash that killed a pedestrian Friday afternoon in Pahrump. The victim has been identified as Janet Errett, a former longtime member of the local media community.
Officials responded to the crash just before 12:30 p.m. near Game Bird Road and Unicorn Avenue.

Road closure in effect
The intersection remained closed for an unknown amount of time during the investigation.
Community ties
Errett was a former member of the KPVM News 25 and Ace Country Radio family, according to a post on the station’s Facebook account.
