LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police say they are responding to a barricade Monday afternoon that’s related to destruction of property.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said police are on scene in the 4000 block of University Center, near Flamingo Road, just before 1 p.m.
Police said the incident is related to “malicious destruction of property.” FOX5 sources said a brick went through a patrol car’s windshield.
SWAT and crisis negotiators are on scene.
LVMPD says several road closures are in place and the public should avoid the area.
