LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A missing New York grandmother who vanished after traveling to Southern Nevada has died, family members confirmed.

Alisa Goods, 63, had been the subject of an intensive search in Las Vegas since she disappeared on Sunday, Aug. 16.

On Friday, her family confirmed the tragic update that she was found deceased.

Her family previously traveled to Las Vegas from New York to spearhead search efforts, distributing flyers and pleading with the public for help in locating her.

Goods had traveled to Las Vegas for a vacation. According to her family, she was last seen on Sunday afternoon near East Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane.

Her family grew increasingly concerned after she missed her flight back to New York.

Details regarding the location where Goods was found, as well as the cause and manner of her death, have not yet been released.

The family has set up a fundraiser to help with burial costs.
