LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Cooling stations across Clark County communities are open as daytime cooling stations from Aug. 22-23 and Aug. 24-26, due to an extreme heat warning, according to a list of locations provided by county officials.
The stations are open for people in need of respite from the heat.

Residents can scan a QR code on a mobile device for directions to their nearest cooling station. Additional resources are available at the Southern Nevada Heat Resource Map at StayCoolClarkCounty.com, which includes public pools, splash pads and additional resources for extreme heat.
