LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — North Las Vegas police say a suspicious device being investigated Thursday poses no threat to the public.
According to police, the device was found in the area of Craig Road and Donovan Way. However, further details about the nature of the device were not immediately available.

“Out of an abundance of caution, specialized personnel are responding to evaluate the device, and temporary road closures have been implemented to ensure the safety of the public and responding personnel,” police said in an email.
Police shared in an update that the device was evaluated and was determined to pose no threat to the public.
The roads in the area have been cleared, I-15 access ramps have reopened, and the police perimeter near Craig Road and Donovan Way has been taken down.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while officers worked to safely resolve the incident,” police said.
