LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Dozens of local entrepreneurs packed a small business expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center Thursday, looking for connections, funding and a roadmap to grow their companies.
The 14th annual Committed To Our Business Community (CTOBC) Expo brought together more than 90 businesses and agencies, a record turnout. Nonprofits, banks, government programs, consultants, and networking groups were under one roof, offering help with loans, grants, marketing, AI tools, and more.
“The more people I meet, the more hands I shake, the more connections I build. It helps the nonprofit, it helps our members, and ultimately, it helps the community. It helps Las Vegas overall,” said Calvin To with ACE Next Gen Las Vegas.

ACE Next Gen Las Vegas says events like this are critical for younger entrepreneurs, giving them face-to-face access to mentors, chambers of commerce, and other local groups, so they don’t have to navigate startup life alone.
“When you’re a startup business, you need guidance, you need assistance, and you don’t know where to go. This is the place to be. You have everybody, the movers and shakers here, that can help your business grow,” said Jessica Jordan, president and CEO of SW Marketing & Consulting.
Organizers call small businesses “the heart of the community” and say they’ll use this year’s momentum to make next year’s expo even bigger, so more local owners can find the connections they need to succeed.
