LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has requested to preserve an artifact from Carsynn Meyer’s performance at the 2026 Little League World Series.
In a letter to Meyer’s family, the Hall of Fame said her performance in Williamsport, and the inspiration she generated beyond the games, represents an “important chapter” in the growing impact of women and girls in baseball.

The Hall of Fame initially requested a game-worn batting helmet or cap from Meyer for its collections.
Paseo Verde Little League said in a post that Meyer’s game-used batting gloves are now on their way to Cooperstown.
The league’s post referred to Meyer as “our very own Car Car” and stated the roll call now reads “Ruth, Mays, Aaron… Meyer.”
Once the gear arrives, it will be preserved in the Hall of Fame’s collections in Cooperstown.
