LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the scene of a shooting that left one person injured in downtown Las Vegas Friday afternoon.

The incident was reported just after noon at the 900 block of Fremont Street, near 10th Street.
Police say one person suffered an apparent gunshot wound and has been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is currently outstanding, officials add.
Residents are urged to avoid the area due to a large police presence.
