LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Henry Ruggs has been moved to transitional housing in Northern Nevada, online prison records show.
The former NFL player, now 27, is listed in the Nevada Department of Correction’s website as being in the Northern Nevada Transitional Housing. The institution is listed as a halfway house located in Reno.
Ruggs was sentenced in August 2023 to three to 10 years in prison for a fatal DUI crash. Authorities said Ruggs was driving up to 156 mph on November 2, 2021, when he crashed into a car, killing 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog, Max.

Ruggs pleaded guilty in May 2023 to felony DUI causing death and misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
In June, the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners denied his parole. He is scheduled to appear before the board again in May 2027, three months ahead of his mandatory release date on August 24, 2027.
