LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Tickets are on sale now for “Sin City Speaks,” a 7 p.m. performance Saturday, Sept. 12, at the West Las Vegas Theatre.
The theatre is located at 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd. in Las Vegas. General admission tickets are priced at $15.
The show brings together poetry, comedy and music. It features internationally acclaimed poet Rudy Francisco and award-winning poet, scholar and performer Javon Johnson.

Hosts and performers
Las Vegas comedian Shanna Christmas will host the event. DJ Kelly J will provide music throughout the evening.
Francisco’s work focuses on love, healing, masculinity and mental health. Johnson’s work focuses on blackness, performance studies and spoken-word culture, combining storytelling and performance.

The event includes poetry, comedy and communal celebration. Doors open at 6 p.m. for seating.
