LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Data center company Switch is again expanding its footprint in North Las Vegas.
County records show Switch recently paid about $196 million for roughly 176 acres of land at the Apex Industrial Park.
The land purchased by Switch is currently vacant and zoned for industrial use, the kind of property typically used for large data center campuses, warehouses, and other heavy-infrastructure projects.
Switch already owns dozens of acres at Apex. This latest acquisition positions it for more growth in North Las Vegas in the future.
Switch now controls hundreds of acres of land at Apex. The company has made no formal announcement on its plans but is now poised for significant data center growth in that area.
