LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Harry Reid International Airport, Signature Aviation and U.S. Customs and Border Protection celebrated the opening of a new CBP facility Thursday within the general aviation and private jet area of the airport.
The facility, a decade in the making, will serve international general aviation and cargo operations. It provides dedicated infrastructure to support those segments of the airport’s operations.

By separating international general aviation and cargo processing from international commercial airline arrivals, the facility is intended to help improve operational efficiency, reduce congestion and create a more seamless experience for travelers.
The event will include a ribbon cutting and photo opportunity. Speaking remarks were given by Donald R. Kusser, director of field operations for Los Angeles and Las Vegas; James C. Chrisley, Clark County director of aviation; and Brad Williams, Signature Aviation chief operating officer.
