LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcycle rider is dead Wednesday morning after a crash in the southeast valley, police say.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the crash near Patrick Avenue and Pecos Road around 5:14 a.m. The motorcycle rider was located on scene and pronounced dead, according to police.

LVMPD’s Fatal Detail was responding to the scene, police said.
The roadway will be closed for an extended period during the investigation, according to police.
