LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police said the suspect in a deadly stabbing fled the scene before officers could arrive early Saturday morning.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said its communications team received a report just before 3 a.m. of a stabbing in a parking lot at a business in the 70 block of West Imperial Avenue, near Commerce Street.
Arriving officers found a man lying in the parking lot suffering from a stab wound. Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.

LVMPD’s homicide section responded to the scene. Detectives said the victim had been in a fight with another man inside a business, and the victim was escorted outside.
Police said a second fight happened outside the business when the victim was stabbed. The suspect fled before officers could arrive.
Police said the identification of the decedent, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
