LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A peaceful new chapter began Saturday for Mission High School students recovering from addiction with the official opening of the campus’s Serenity Garden.
The school, which is a Clark County School District campus dedicated to serving students in recovery from substance abuse, unveiled its new Serenity Garden on Saturday morning.

Funded by The Raiders Foundation after being selected for support by the Maxx Crosby Foundation, the garden was designed to provide students with a peaceful on-campus retreat during their recovery journey.
School leaders, alumni, and community partners gathered at the campus, located near downtown Las Vegas, for the weekend ceremony, which included CCSD Trustee Brenda Zamora, Mission High Principal Angela Nickels, and representatives from both foundations.
