LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian has been hospitalized with serious injured after being hit near the Las Vegas Strip Monday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash was reported around 5:34 a.m. near Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard. A pedestrian was located with serious injuries and transported to a nearby hospital, police say.

Police add that it is currently unknown if the pedestrian’s injuries are life-threatening.
The intersection will by closed while police conduct an investigation.
The public is advised to avoid the area, or expect delays.
