LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — PWHL Las Vegas announced its inaugural home opener for the 2026-27 Professional Women’s Hockey League regular season will be played Sunday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. PT against PWHL Detroit at T-Mobile Arena.
The game marks the league’s first all-expansion matchup of the new season.

The matchup is one of six games scheduled during the league’s opening weekend, when all 12 teams will be in action Dec. 5-6.
PWHL Las Vegas will later travel to Seattle for the Torrent’s home opener at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. PT.
Schedule and tickets
The complete regular-season schedule will be announced Friday, Oct. 2.
Tickets for the PWHL Las Vegas home opener go on sale at 8 a.m. PT and can be purchased online. Fans interested in multiple games can purchase Season Ticket Memberships. Flex packs will also be made available in all PWHL markets with the full schedule release.
