LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County is set to open its community grant funding this week, with local nonprofits able to begin applying Thursday.

The county’s Outside Agency Grant application window opens Thursday, October 1, at 9 a.m. Applications are due by Thursday, October 29, at 5 p.m.

The grants are available to nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and government entities that provide services to Clark County residents. Individuals and for-profit companies are not eligible.

To qualify, programs must do at least one of the following: help disadvantaged residents become more self-sufficient, build community pride or cohesion through events or programs, or strengthen local infrastructure with facilities or projects.

Applications must be completed and submitted online through the Clark County Social Services Outside Agency Grant website. If approved, grant money can be used only between July 1, 2027, and June 30, 2028.
