LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Dig It! Coffee has reopened on the Garden Foundation campus in southwest Las Vegas after closing its Arts District location earlier this year.
Owner Taylor Chaney said the coffee shop’s mission goes beyond serving coffee.
“Dig it! Coffee is just so much more than a coffee shop,” Chaney said. “Our main mission is to provide opportunities for adults with disabilities who typically don’t have endless employment opportunities.”
New location follows Arts District closure
Dig it! Coffee operated in the Arts District for three years before Chaney announced the location would close.
“Leaving the Arts District was a really difficult decision,” Chaney said. “I think with all of the construction and all of the changes going on, I think it was time for us to start a new chapter.”
Chaney said the new southwest Las Vegas location improves accessibility for customers.
“Being here in the southwest, we know that makes us a lot more accessible for people, especially here on the weekends,” Chaney said.

Coffee shop and nonprofit share one campus
The shop retains its pink branding and disco balls. The new location is on the campus of the newly renovated Garden Foundation, a nonprofit Chaney created seven years ago to provide continued education for people with special needs.
“I truly never imagined having both of my business babies at the same location,” Chaney said. “And so the fact that we can be here on the Garden Foundation’s beautiful campus and have Dig It as a part of what we’re doing is just… I feel very lucky to be able to do that.”
The Southwest Valley location is open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 8390 W. Windmill Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89113.
