LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Grand Prix Plaza will reopen Friday, Jan. 8, 2027, with Kids Karts, an F1-themed indoor playground, three new private event spaces, and updates across its attractions.
Grand Prix Plaza will bring back these attractions and experiences:
- F1 X, an interactive Formula 1 experience
- F1 DRIVE, an official F1 karting experience
- F1 HUB, a Formula 1 retail store
- F1 SIMULATORS
- Fuel & Fork, the restaurant and lounge

“Grand Prix Plaza is more than a gateway to F1 – it is a year-round commitment to the Las Vegas community,” said Brendan Dolby, vice president of commercial for Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. “With new experiences for younger guests and even more ways to engage with the sport, we’re continuing to create a destination where fans of all ages can experience the energy, innovation and heritage of Formula 1 firsthand.”
Kids Karts and indoor playground
F1 DRIVE will add Kids Karts and an F1-themed indoor playground.
Kids Karts will be available to drivers at least 48 inches tall. They will be offered as part of Family Sprint Sessions, which allow younger drivers to race alongside adults in karts set to a lower speed.
The indoor playground will be a dedicated space within the F1 DRIVE attraction for younger visitors to play and explore.
Details about Kids Karts, including packages, pricing and scheduling, will be announced later, the release said.
F1 DRIVE updates
F1 DRIVE will return with its signature track layout. The updates include new functionality to make overtaking easier and updated steering wheels across the adult kart fleet.
A new F1-inspired Cool Down Room will offer an updated space to unwind after taking to the track.
Private event spaces
Grand Prix Plaza will add three private event spaces for corporate gatherings, team-building activities and celebrations.
The Boardroom: Located on the third floor, it will accommodate up to 50 people. It will have a boardroom table for executive meetings of up to 20 guests. The space will have Formula 1 memorabilia provided by F1 Authentics, including show cars, racing suits, and helmets. F1 SIMULATORS and a Pit Stop Challenge will be available for corporate team-building.
The Circuit Suite: The space is for groups of about 10 to 30 people. It will have two F1 SIMULATORS, televisions, and furnishings. The release said it can be used for corporate meetings, private race watch parties, and other gatherings.
The Podium Suite: The Formula 1-inspired space will accommodate up to 40 people. The release said it is suited for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties and other private celebrations.
Fuel & Fork and tickets
Fuel & Fork will return for the 2027 season with a refreshed menu and seasonal offerings throughout the year.
Tickets for the 2027 season will go on sale in the coming weeks, the release said. People can sign up at grandprixplaza.com to receive reopening updates, information, and offers. Details about the experiences and private event bookings are also available on the website.
