LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Nevada fell 8 cents to $5.25 in the past week, AAA said.
The national average dropped 5 cents to $4.22 a gallon.
AAA said crude oil prices above $100 per barrel are limiting further declines at the pump.

AAA reminded drivers to use extra caution this weekend, with trick-or-treaters on the streets and daylight saving time ending Sunday.
“With pedestrians out for Halloween and earlier evening darkness ahead, drivers should slow down, put distractions away and watch carefully while in neighborhoods,” said Doug Johnson, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group. “Attaching reflective tape or reflectors to costumes or candy buckets makes kids visible to drivers. Place a flashlight with fresh batteries inside your child’s treat bucket to make children more visible to traffic.”
The average price for regular gasoline is $5.32 a gallon in Las Vegas and $5.40 a gallon in Reno.
