LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An awards show recognized Las Vegas’ top “40 under 40″ on Thursday night and one of FOX5′s own was among the honorees.
Mike Davis was recognized for his work on the Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network, where he hosts multiple shows. Organizers said tonight’s ceremony was all about picking out locals who demonstrate leadership and a strong work ethic as they work to showcase the best parts of the Las Vegas Valley community.
“There’s a lot more of a tight-knit community here than people realize,” Davis said. “When I first moved here I thought that Vegas was all about the Strip and it’s really not. There’s so many great people that make this community run, and it’s been a privilege to meet so many people and share so many stories and I hope I can keep doing it for a long time.”
