LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The man charged with killing two Nevada troopers in a crash last year has pleaded guilty to DUI charges.

Jemarcus Williams, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI resulting in death during a court hearing on Tuesday morning. Williams was arrested on Nov. 30, 2023, after hitting two Nevada State Police troopers who were checking on a driver stopped on the I-15 shoulder.

Williams fled the scene, though police would later find the vehicle involved, as well as one of the troopers’ badges inside, according to an arrest report. Detectives would also locate Williams, who would eventually confess to being the driver.

The two troopers were later identified as Sergeant Michael Abbate and Trooper Alberto Felix.

Williams faces two to 20 years in prison for each count. He is due in court again for sentencing on Tuesday, June 11.
