LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting on Wednesday morning that left one person dead in a east valley neighborhood.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 300 block of Sturgeon Lane, near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue.
Citizens reported hearing gunfire in the area and arriving officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound, who would later die at the scene.
Metro says no arrests have been made yet.
The public is advised to avoid the area.
