LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The North Las Vegas Police Department asked for the public’s help in finding 74-year-old Inez Evadney Wilson on Friday night.
Wilson was last heard from on Friday around 8 a.m. when she spoke to a family member by phone from her residence in the 3600 block of Emmons Avenue. Police say Wilson had plans to pick up her aunt from the airport at 11 a.m. but never showed up.
After finding transportation to Wilson’s home, her aunt told police that she did not answer the door and neighbors said they had not seen her all day.
Officers conducted a welfare check on Wilson, but could not find her inside the home.
Wilson is a Black woman with brown eyes and brown/gray hair. She’s around 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds.
Police say Wilson may be displaying early signs of dementia and may get confused. She also has a slight Jamaican accent and goes by the nickname “Cherry.”
