LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Multiple outages have popped up around the valley Tuesday morning as isolated showers and thunderstorms approach.
According to NV Energy’s outage map, around 1,917 customers were affected by around 20 outages just before 8 a.m.
As of 8:30 a.m., around 1,871 are affected by more than a dozen outages.

Around 4:27 a.m., an outage was reported affecting more than 400 NV Energy customers on Mt. Charleston, near the Kyle Canyon area.
In total, over 413 customers are affected by the outage, which is currently under investigation. According to 2024 U.S. census data, the mountain has a population of around 465.
NV Energy estimates that power will be restored to the area around 10:15 a.m.

Around 7:17 a.m., a power outage was reported in the the 89122 zip code in the Whitney area in the southeast part of the valley, affecting around 455 customers.
Also around 7:17 a.m., a power outage affecting 951 customers in the 89014 zip code in Henderson was reported.
There is no estimated time for power restoration listed for any outages in the valley, according to NV Energy’s outage map. The cause for all of the outages remains under investigation.
