LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Aces emcee C.J. Simpson is in her 17th year as an in-game host in the WNBA.

She’s been with the Aces since they moved here six years ago and is now hosting in front of sellout crowds at Michelob Ultra Arena. She has had a front-row seat to watch the league evolve over the years.

“it was so beautiful to see a city so hungry for sports and so thirsty to, you know, come on in and welcome the Aces and truly show up,” she said of the team’s origins. “The growth from there has been just tremendous, every single season, leading to this season, with us being the first team ever in the WNBA to sell out season tickets.”

“There’s really nothing like our fan base. It is so special. I talk to many of them on social media each and every day.”
