LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Archery competitors from all over the world gathered at the South Point to show their skills!
The Vegas Shoot happened at the South Point, February 1-4.
Archers from all 50 states and over 50 countries competed for trophies, scholarships, and cash prizes.
They range in age, from 5-years-old to 102-years-old.
President of the Vegas Shoot, Bruce Cull said these events are a good opportunity for people to learn about the game.
“It’s a great self-discipline sport,” Cull said. “It takes a lot of mental capacity. As kids when they get started, what’s cooler than to run something that’s a projectile to hit the bullseye or the X That’s what they like to do.”
The Vegas Shoot has a new location in 2025, the Horseshoe and Paris complex. It is scheduled for March 5-9, 2025.
