LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An armed suspect was arrested near the UNLV campus on Monday evening.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched at 5:50 p.m. on a call of a man with a knife. Police responded to the 4500 block of S. Maryland Parkway.
Police said that the suspect ran into a fast-food restaurant, which was evacuated. Police “established dialogue” with the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
